In preparation

This article is in its preparation stages and is currently in "beta" mode. The page will be finished eventually.

This article is about gateways that require specific circumstances to open only once. For gateways that require specific weapons each time Samus wishes to pass through, see Door.

Blast Shields of varying colors, shapes, and sizes block access to different areas unless Samus has the means to remove them. Once removed, the Blast Shield will often reveal a regular Door beneath, and will not reform. Usually a specific concussive weapon, set of conditions, or beam combo must be used to remove a Blast Shield.
