Translator Doors are barriers of Luminoth design that block access to key areas of Aether in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

These doors are locked by holograms depicting words in the complex Luminoth Language in one of four different colors: Violet, Amber, Emerald, or Cobalt. Samus's Translator Module is incapable of deciphering these without updates, which can be procured from Luminoth Holoprojectors holding messages from the last three Temple Sentinels, and from U-Mos.

The update from U-Mos allows Samus to decipher Violet holograms in the Temple Grounds and Great Temple,[1] the update from I-Sha decodes Amber holograms in the Agon Wastes,[2] the update from A-Voq decodes Emerald holograms in the Torvus Bog,[3] and the update from O-Lir decodes Cobalt holograms in the Sanctuary Fortress.[4]
