The Spin Jump Attack used in Metroid Fusion

The Charge Attack[1] (or Spin Jump Attack[2]) is an attack only usable in Metroid Fusion and Metroid: Zero Mission. This attack requires the Charge Beam to use. It involves Samus Spin Jumping into an enemy while having a held Charge Beam. It's effect is very similar, but inferior, to that of the Screw Attack. If an enemy survives the attack, Samus will also take damage. Upon usage, the charged shot will count as used, meaning if Samus wants to use the technique again she must charge another shot. After obtaining the Screw Attack, this technique is no longer usable.
