The Crystal Flash is an ability found in Super Metroid which allows Samus to restore her lost energy by absorbing the blast from a Power Bomb. In the process, she will also expend most of her Missiles and Super Missiles. When used, Samus will curl up and absorb the blast from the Power Bomb until her energy is completely filled, at which point she will drop back to the ground.
