Diffusion Missile

Diffusion Missiles expand the freezing effects of the Ice Missiles featured only in Metroid Fusion. It functions similarly to the Charge Beam, once charged, it will freeze any enemies in its blast radius. Samus obtains it shortly after defeating Nightmare.

At first, Adam is surprised that she upgraded her Missiles, claiming that it must have been a procedural error.[1] Later, he reveals that the Federation was attempting to withhold to prevent her from becoming too powerful.[2]
