The Diffusion Missiles are the third and final Missile upgrade in Metroid Fusion, the only game featuring it so far. They add a similar effect to the Missile Launcher as the Charge Beam to the Power Beam, so that Missiles can now be charged. When charged, the Missile has a scattering effect when touching any wall or enemy but unlike charged Missile shots from other games, one charged shot only uses one Missile.
