The Galactic Federation Anhur-Class patrol ship is dispatched to Aether to fight the Space Pirates located there. Rather than carrying out this task, its crew helps the Luminoth natives and discovers Phazon on the planet left after the Pirates evacuate the planet. This Phazon is later used to create the Phazon Enhancement Devices.[citation needed]
