Metroid: Other M is an upcoming game to be released on the Wii on June 27, 2010. The game is being developed by Team Ninja together with Nintendo SPD. According to Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, the story of Other M focuses largely on the series' protagonist Samus Aran.
The story begins immediately following the events of Super Metroid, when a baby Metroid gave its life to protect Samus. Samus weaves through an action-packed adventure aboard the Bottle Ship, a decommissioned space facility. As she hurtles into this new adventure, Samus will encounter her first mentor and Commanding Officer of the Galactic Federation, Adam Malkovich.[1]
