Nettori is a plant creature that released vines across the B.S.L research station causing power outages. Entangled in its vines is what appears to be a Chozo Statue or a Torizo. Nettori is battled in Sector 2 (TRO)

Once Samus enters its chamber, it begins releasing spores from flowers on the ceiling that will damage her on contact. On the floor of the chamber are large plants that will continuously drain Samus's energy until she jumps out of them.

In order to defeat Nettori, Samus must fire Missiles or the Charge Beam at its body. Once it is damaged enough, the flowers on the ceiling will be destroy and Nettori will start firing the Plasma Beam and release spores from the plants on the floor. After its body is destroyed, it will no longer release spores and its Hard Core X will be revealed.
