Template:Enemy-infobox Quads are Luminoth built Mechanoids that were originally used to combat the Ing; but as with other Mechanoids, they were turned against their creators by the Ing. They are controlled by a Command Module which is capable of operating without its Main Body. The Main Body is also capable of operating without a Command Module.

Abilities

Quads have several offensive and defensive abilities:

• While the Main Body and Command Module are connected, a sustained energy beam may be fired. A weak point that Samus may exploit is present while the beam is active.
• The Main Body is capable of using melee attacks including slashing and spinning, Samus may counter the spinning by boosting directly into it.
• The Command Module can generate shields that can only be overloaded with a beam with the opposite polarity, firing energy bursts, or connecting with the Main Body of another Quad.

Dark Quad

Dark Quads do not have any abilities not present in a regular Quad, except for increased resistance. Quadraxis generates these in the battle against it.
