Sandbats are minor, desert-dwelling enemies. They only appear in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Sandbats are tan and maroon in color and have short wing spans. they fly in packs mostly for protection and hunting. Sandbats have low defensive capabilities and can be killed with virtually any weapons. They are known to devour any food they can find.
