Usage[edit source]

This template is used to link easily directly to the page, such as Metroid (species). To link to this page, one would write:
{{sp|Metroid|parasitic creatures}}
That would yield parasitic creatures and link to Metroid (specimen). The display is optional, if nothing is written inside of it, the article's name without (specimen) would appear. So {{sp|Metroid}} would yield Metroid and link to Metroid (species).
