:I wouldn't think that the game is used the vast majority of the time in writing. However, our statistics page actually says that the species page for Metroids are more viewed, and those may be more iconic. Basically, what my opinion boils down to is this: I have no problem moving the most commonly used term for Metroid (or Metroid Prime) so long as it's reflective of the data (which I don't have much of to base any suggestions off of, unfortunately). {{User:Bop1996/sig}} 18:57, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

::I was way way wrong, according to our Google Analytics data, 72% of viewers who go to [[Metroid (disambiguation)]] proceed to [[Metroid (species)]], compared to the 17% who go to the article about the game. So with this taken into consideration, I believe it would be best to keep it as it is now. {{:User:Metroidking/sig}} 02:31, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

:::That's funny, cuz when writing, it feels like the game is where things usually go. Though this may be because I do so many templates that involve using each game. It really made sense in the case of Kraid and Ridley {{:User:Malake256/sig}} 03:11, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
