Editing[edit source]

When editing most pages, please put them into an in universe style of writing (see this). A few other things that you'll need to do:

  • Capitalize the names of specific species and weapons
  • The first mentioning of the object the page is describing must be bold, this is done by placing ''' on both sides of the word ('''Skree''' will make it Skree)
  • Italicize games, even when using a shorter form like Zero Mission. This is done by placing '' on both sides, similarly to making words bold.

There's a few other things that would take a while to describe, but take a look at the corrections that are made to pages for examples. Most of these things can take a while to remember to do, but stick to it. MK 22:43, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

You also need to categorize things, take a look at our categories for ideas on which ones to use. Notice templates such as Template:Stub for small articles that are lacking in information and Template:Image for articles without images should also be place on articles. And a reminder, use in universe style of writing (Samus instead of you). MK 02:04, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

More on Editing[edit source]

Thanks for making all those pages. Although small, they're much better than what a lot of people do, Copy/Paste from other websites. If you Become a registered user, you can be eligible to receive a prize for your edits if you continue editing (: --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 05:09, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Please do not add comments like this on articles, it is vandalism and you can be blocked if it is repeated. MK 20:37, 30 November 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
