  • I love the Metroid series more than any other, even when I get stuck on the Alpha Blogg for over a year (true fact).
  • My favorite is Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. When I first played it, I hated it simply because it was hard to adjust to and you couldn't use the Gamecube controller like you could in SSBB (I see now it would make it literally impossible to play). The amount of control and movement you were allowed amazed me. And as silly as this sounds, its also the only Prime game that didn't terrify me. The first one always had me at the edge of my seat, waiting for something to jump out of the dark and kill me. The second one I played at not even 2 minutes in I was looking at Galactic Federation Marines hanging by the foot and had all died by fear. Being easily scared, I turned it off and hid the game in my closet like some five year old, and wouldn't return to it for over 3 months. Corruption however, was different. There was a larger focus on character and story then the other two. The planets were huge, and I was constantly finding small areas that ended up being a 6 step process (which is one of the main reasons Bryyo is my favorite planet in the trilogy)
  • Grenchler scare the living daylights out of me. They seem like Sheegoths until you gain the higher ground and they jump like 6 feet to catch you. Not only that, but when I go under water to find a door, I'll pass by one willy nilly because of how murky the water is.
  • I have played Quadraxis battle theme 200+ times on my iTunes and never actually made it to that boss. I've seen the videos of the game play, and the music fits it so well.
