Aqua Pirates are Flying Pirates with armor retrofitted for underwater use. They are armed with rockets and beam weapons, and like Flying Pirates, if their armor is damaged to the point of failure, Aqua Pirates will attempt to ram their targets before the jet packs explode. Samus can easily target Aqua Pirates at a distance with use of the Thermal Visor.
