Arctic Spawn

The Arctic Spawn is a creature found on Arcterra. It lives in cold habitats, burrowing in the ice to move. They are extremely violent, and will attack any creature that comes near. They are extremely vulnerable to attacks of extreme heat, such as the Magmaul, in the mouth. Samus encounters one when exploring Arcterra. The Arctic Spawn appears to be of a similer species to the Fire Spawn, being almost identical to it.

Native to frozen habitats, this creature depends on low temperatures to survive. The Arctic Spawn is territorial in the extreme and will attack any percieved threat by hurling immobilizing shards of razor-sharp ice.
