The Boost Guardian is the Warrior Ing that stole Samus's Boost Ball. Samus battles the Boost Guardian in the Dark Torvus Arena in a chamber without any Light Crystals or Light Beacons to generate Safe Zones.
Battle
The Boost Guardian's primary form of attack is Boosting, though it will also use attacks used by Warrior Ing.
Samus cannot damage the Boost Guardian while it is Boosting, though its attacks can be interrupted with Bombs or by an impact with the pillars in the room that house Inglets. If it is forced out of its Boost attack, the Boost Guardian will go into the Ing's puddle form and follow Samus around. After it is hit by enough Bombs, it will go into its vulnerable solid form.
After Samus defeats the Boost Guardian, she may reclaim her Boost Ball.
