A Crash Pillar is a defense robot created by the Alimbics. These machines will launch themselves into the air using antigravity propulsion to slam down on foes. They have a limited range, and will return to a domant state when they no longer detect a threat. Their underside is vulnerable to attack. These mechanoids are not only for defense, as they are aestetically pleasing to the Alimbics.

Logbook[edit | edit source]

Logbook entry from Metroid Prime Hunters: Crash Pillar
Highly pleasing to Alimbic aestetics, this sentry cyborg is dormant until it senses an intruder, and returns to a dormant state once the threat retreats. The Crash Pillar levitates by means of antigravity propulsion before attempting to smash its quarry. Vulnerable neurocircuitry is housed underneath the base.[1]
