The Dark Phlogus is a carnivorous plant found in Dark Torvus Bog similar to the Puddle Spore on Tallon IV as well as the Venus Flytrap. Dark Phlogi wait in the water for the prey. After they detect vibrations from the prey, they will release a toxic spray. Like the Puddle Spore, they can only be stunned by Samus's weaponry and not destroyed. Once stunned, they will flip over onto so that their flat bottom is exposed allowing Samus to use them as a platform.[1]
