The Fusion Suit in its first stage.

The Fusion Suit is the result of drastic alterations made to Samus Aran's Power Suit during the removal of parts infected by the X-Parasite. The Fusion Suit is Samus's starring suit in Metroid Fusion. The Fusion Suit is also obtainable in Metroid Prime if one can connect Metroid Fusion and Metroid Prime using a Gameboy Advance-GameCube Link Cable.

Early Fusion Suit

Samus obtains the suit after becoming severely ill after an X-Parasite attack on SR388. After the attack, Samus's body and suit are repaired by Vaccine "Metroid," which came about thanks to the Infant Metroid Samus saved earlier. The repaired suit is less bulkier than her Power Suit and is covered by a blue, X-like substance.

Samus (Fusion Suit):

During exploration of SR388, Samus is infected by an X parasite and nearly dies. A vaccine created from Metroid cells saves her, but her suit turns blue and looses most of its abilities and weapons. This new Samus must fight to neutralize the threat of the X parasites in the space station run by Biologic Space Laboratories.
