The Fusion Suit in its first stage.

The Fusion Suit is the result of drastic alterations made to Samus Aran's Power Suit during the removal of parts infected by the X Parasite and the Metroid Vaccine. The Fusion Suit is Samus's starring suit in Metroid Fusion.

Features

The Fusion is less bulky then the original Power Suit, allowing Samus to climb on ledges without the Power Grip, the disadvantage to this is that the suit is much weaker then the original power suit. Also with Samus Aran's new Metroid DNA, Samus inherits the Metroids vulnerability to cold, the suit is more open to Ice attacks and the suit cannot use the Ice Beam. Also the Charge Beam functions differently, instead of firing 1 large burst of energy, it now fires medium sized energy waves, the more powerful the weapon, the more energy waves are fired.

Samus (Fusion Suit) Trophy

	During exploration of SR388, Samus is infected by an X parasite and nearly dies. A vaccine created from Metroid cells saves her, but her suit turns blue and looses most of its abilities and weapons. This new Samus must fight to neutralize the threat of the X parasites in the space station run by Biologic Space Laboratories.

Other Appearances

The Fusion Suit has been featured in other games. After Metroid Prime is completed, it and Metroid Fusion can be linked and allow Samus to use the Fusion Suit in Metroid Prime. In the Wii versions of Metroid Prime, Samus can still use the Fusion Suit if purchased through credits.
