The Grapple Lasso is a new form of the Grapple Beam in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. It is found in the first room of Norion by simply shooting open a locked door. It is used to rip open blast shields, move objects, or even defeat enemies or rip off their shields. The Lasso is helpful in defeating Shield Pirate Troopers and Gragnol Adults. It is required to defeat several bosses including Rundas, Omega Ridley, and Aurora Unit 313. It is later upgraded to the Grapple Swing and later the Grapple Voltage.
