Kraid or Kraid's Lair is an area featured in Metroid (known as Mini-Boss hideout I), Metroid: Zero Mission, and Super Metroid; it is named after the boss of the same name. It is located in the depths of Brinstar on Zebes. Rooms with pools of acid are common in both Metroid and Metroid: Zero Mission. Kraid's Lair is technically part of Brinstar in Super Metroid, but is isolated from it.
