Mother Brain is a recurring character in the Metroid series. She is an organic supercomputer located on Planet Zebes, working for the Space Pirates.

• The office of Hiroshi Yamauchi, the former president of Nintendo, was called Mother Brain. Yamauchi was also the executive producer of the first three Metroid games.
