Like all the temples on [[Aether]], the temple is enormous. It is neatly structured with complex architecture in the distance. It contains many ledges that Samus can use to make her way to the [[Energy Controller]] or any of the other ways out of the room.

There are also two Dark Quad units in the room the first time Samus comes in. In later visits, they are replaced by 3 Mekenobites in later visits. There are also several posts of a giant mechanoid, later revealed to be a [[Quadraxis]] drone, but wasn't completed.

The temple was used for worship purposes like all temples, but during the [[Ing-Luminoth War|war]] the Sanctuary Temple was used by [[O-Lir]] to build numerous mechanoids to aid the [[Luminoth]] in battle. After building countless Quads, O-Lir decided to build a massive robot to guard the temple, this would become known as Quadraxis. Two were supposed to be built, but only one was completed. The completed parts of the second are in the temple.
