Categories on the Main Page
Active editors and Metroid fans. On the main navigation bar of the main page there is room for 8 categories, which are alreay filled up with 'Games', 'Enemies', 'Spacecrafts' etc: Which categories do you guys think should be there? Ones that are significant to Metroid and are coming along strongly here at the wiki would be the obvious choices. -Melchizedek talk 23:11, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
- Most of the categories on the main page sound good, I would recommend replacing the Power Suit category with the Suits category though. I'd also recommend the weapons category for the main page. Metroidking 23:17, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

- OK. I also created a technology category and placed weapons, space ships, and suits inside it. You can put that on the main page instead. I am sorry I didn't think about this until now. Metroidking 23:42, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
- So that would lead to removing two and adding one, so we'd need another new one. But, I think technology might be a bit blaze for up there. Do people really know what they're wanting in technology, compared to a weapons, suits or spacecrafts category? It doesn't seem specific enough to me. -Melchizedek talk 23:49, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

The bar near the top of Zelda Wiki's main page that links to all the different games in the series gave me this idea; I think it'd be pretty helpful here, as well. - We're trying to make something like that too. Our first attempt did not go so well. I don't remember the order we were going to put the games in, but if you want to make a preliminary version here, that would be great. Here are the images to use: File:M1template.png (Metroid)

- How does that look? I stopped at Fusion because the rest of the images have a bunch of blank space around them, and I'm not sure how I can work around that just yet. Can I make some suggestions for the ones I already have up, though? One of the things that makes working with them difficult is that none of them are a perfect circle or a uniform size, which is going to make the final version of the navigation bar look a bit unorganized. May I upload images for the games that I've already made for this purpose? You don't have to use them in the final version of the bar, but I think they'd be at least helpful for ironing out the problems with it. PeanutLord 22:06, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- I was the one fixing the images but i got kinda busy, still am. If you're any good at image editing, it'd be nice if you could fix the images, if not, well it's up to me then. - I'm competent at image editing, but not fantastic; most of my expertise lies in the technical aspect of the matter. That said, I'd be glad to help in any way that I can. You can check out the images I've made for this here; password is "metroids". If you think they're suitable, I'll go ahead and whip up a navigation bar for them (though if you want the glossy effect I've noticed you had for the originals, I can try to apply that to them). - We're debating around on the image styles, if you wanna join the chat, join Metroid Wiki's skype chat. Completely free and much easier to communicate. And no, we don't actually call, just IM. Ur pics are good btw, except that the letters get unreadable at some points, bt nothing that isn't easily fixed. And, to me, i'd like more variety, like not always orange helmeted samus. - Ours will be quite different from Zelda Wiki's, but serve the same basic function. It may not be a bar as such, but another box. If our SEO permits, hopefully it will replace the "Welcome" Box. Also, not only will it have links to the games, but also to key articles (such as Samus Aran), a link to our Facebook group, and a link to our Skype page. OP there is no clear explanation of many problems, also raised speculation of readers, tempt the appetite of readers, and some even vowed that D will you even do not know what One Piece is also equipped with talk. 2.ONE PIECE what is, is there?
Comic name is "ONE PIECE", but what ONE PIECE? Authors did not give a clear answer. Is the pursuit of freedom or big Mibao? Or the historical truth? We do not know. But One Piece is to find ONE PIECE become the hero of the dream, even ONE PIECE is the hero who did not know anything, this dream is no doubt very different, just like in real life is difficult to predict the future as complicated and confusing. Sailing hero is nothing more than to experience the great adventure. Of many people through (Roger, white beard, etc.) ONE PIECE revealed the existence of mouth, and thus attracted many people to look for pirates off big time.
3.D what will? On the will of D, the author did not say, many people speculate, but Kaopu much. The authors also rely on D readers will tempt the appetite. Roger, Fred, Ace, Luffy, Dragon, Saron, black beard, and there is not all blood relations, can only be understood as generations will. "The tide of the times, the dream", but where to find ONE PIECE OP great dreams can only rely on the will of D is rather too narrow, no wonder the Internet has on the D country speculation. Said D D as it is the will of fate, it means other people do not have that life, there is the protagonist here, aura.
