Actually Ridley?[edit source]

It says in the article "He also has a large contraption on his back, presumably to sustain his life since Samus had damaged him earlier as the normal Ridley." but I was always under the impression that Mecha Ridley was just a mechanical version of ridley, not the real thing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though. -Pinecove

It is a mechanical version of Ridley, this article is in need of some correcting. Please sign your talk posts with ~~~~. Metroidking 21:32, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It is a mechanical version that is incomplete to be more exact. Yoshio Sakamoto said it himself. --Malake256 {Talk | Contribs} 22:01, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ah well in that case, it's a good thing I changed it to say that it's most likely a battery, rather than what we had earlier (something to support Ridley's life, ppft). Pinecove 22:04, 2 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Ridley Robot[edit source]

Ooh, found this over at Wikipedia somehow: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Metroid:_Zero_Mission#Mecha-Ridley_the_official_name.3F

Funny thing is, Wikitroid's had this name for a while... but they refer to it as one of those "unofficial translations from Japanese sources" (transliteration, I'm sure). Hmm... 75.177.117.137 21:33, 5 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I don't know what source Wikitroid used but the one linked from Wikipedia seems like a good place to start. If one of our editors has or can get their hands on the guide or some scans of it, that would make the naming much easier. MKMetroid mf Sprite.gif 02:31, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply[reply]
