A Berserker Knight is a [[Space Pirate]] heavily mutated by [[Phazon]]. They have [[Phazite]] plating on their weak spot which was created due to such heavy mutation. Normally to destroy the plating, shooting the purple orbs it fires will damage it, then the plating will be destroyed and their weak spot will be open to attack. However with the use of the [[X-Ray Visor]] in combination with the [[Nova Beam]], Samus can target its weak spot to instantly kill the creature.

Oddly, despite the Space Pirates in [[Metroid Prime]] being very hunched, the Elite Pirates stand tall and are not hunched. However, the Pirates in Corruption are less hunched (only the neck is bent), yet the Beserker Knights and Lords are very bent in structure.

Berserker Knights are Phazon mutated Space Pirates. They only appear in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. They appear to be in the same class as Berserker Lord, as they are similar in appearance and are fought similarly. The Knights appear to be smaller and less powerful then the Lords however. Samus must shoot the blue projectiles it fires back at it to expose the Phazite-plated head. Alternatives include firing a Ship Missile at it, or using the Nova Beam to fire through its head.
