Ing Webtraps are used by the Ing to block off areas. They are similar to the Webling, but are far more resilient, only disappearing when the commanding Ing is killed. Samus encounters them in Dark Agon shorty before recovering a Dark Temple Key. A group of Warrior Ing take the key then block off the area; once killed Samus never encounters the Ing Webtraps again.[1]
