Bomb Guardian

Shortly after attacking Samus, the Alpha Sandigger is possessed by the Ing and transforms into an entirely new creature called the Bomb Guardian. It uses Samus' Morph Ball Bombs that were taken from her in Dark Aether as a weapon. It is easily defeated by using the Charge Beam and Missiles. When deeated, it bestows Samus with the much-needed Morph Ball Bombs.

Trivia

  • It is possible to defeat the Alpha Sandigger before it even gets to its second phase. However, this is very difficult and requires sequence breaking for more missiles to do.
