Metroid Prime is the main antagonist of the Metroid Prime series. It is one of several types of Phazon-mutated Metroid, the others being Hopper Metroids, Phazon Metroids and Fission Metroids.
Characteristics
Metroid Prime differs greatly from other Metroids in that it cannot fly. Instead, it uses its powerful legs to walk and impale enemies. It has the ability to change its color and use different elements to attack Samus. It is vulnerable to the beam which corresponds to the element it has chosen.
