A Baby Sheegoth is an infant Sheegoth. Baby Sheegoths only appear in the original Metroid Prime and are only found in Phendrana Drifts. They are large creatures with only two legs, no forelimbs, and no visible eyes. They have a resilient ice shell on their back, which is the only area that Samus can damage. Once the shell is stressed enough, it shatters, revealing the Baby Sheegoth's sensitive back. Like other creatures accustomed to the extreme cold, Baby Sheegoths are vulnerable to intense heat.
