The Biologic Space Laboratories Research Station, or B.S.L Research Station for short, is a research facility found orbiting the planet SR388. the B.S.L station is also where all playable events of Metroid Fusion take place. Samus explores this area after a nearly fatal attack by X-Parasites.

Sectors

The B.S.L station has six sectors and one main area. The main area is known as the Main Deck, this is where the self-destruct mechanism is located, along with the power supply, and is a key research area. The other six sectors are simply numbered off.

Sector 1 (SRX) which is it's own miniature replica of SR388's climate.

Sector 2 (TRO) is a tropical climate sector.

Sector 3 (PYR) is a desert and volcanic climate. This sector hosts many pools of magma.

Sector 4 (AQA) which is an aquatic climate. The water in this sector became dangerous, as it is constantly electrified by the damaged electrical system.

Sector 5 (ARC) which is an arctic climate. In an early section of this sector, a shadow passes over Samus, this shadow is presumed to be Ridley's. This sector is much safer to explore once Samus has obtained the Varia Suit

Sector 6 (NOC) which is a nocturnal climate. This area is the only place where Samus can find the odd Blue X.
