The Gravity Boost is a small jet pack added to Samus's suit in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. This jet pack, however, only functions underwater to help Samus rise to the top of the water. The Gravity Boost also functions as this game's Gravity Suit, allowing Samus to move freely in water without being slowed down by the water's force.

Obtaining the Gravity Boost

The Gravity Boost is obtained in Torvus Bog. It is the reward for defeating Alpha Blogg in the Main Hydrochamber. It lays specifically in the small Hydrochamber Storage room.
