Guardians are automated machines created by the Alimbics. They appear in all of the areas of Metroid Prime Hunters. They have a large head that is vulnerable to head shots. Individual Guardians use a standard beam along with modified Affinity Weapons. A Guardian using an Affinity Weapon will be extremely vulnerable to the opposite weapon. They use fusion energy for power.[1]
