Definition
The Hazard Shield is a Space Pirate shielding technology stolen by Samus Aran in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. The Hazard shield is a Suit upgrade.
Abilities
The Hazard Shield allows Samus to be able to withstand Acid Rain and Fuel Gel. When Samus enters these substances, a orange shielding forms over Samus Arans Power Suit which protects her from those hazardus substances. Ironicly the same barrier forms when Samus enters Liquid Phazon even though Liquid Phazon has no negative effects on Samus arans suit when Samus is also in the PED suit.
