The Hive Entrance is a room in the Ing Hive from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
The Hive Entrance is a large room with a chasm in the middle. It serves as the entrance to the Ing Hive, yet there is no way out of it like it's light counterpart. Samus music use the Screw Attack to make her way across to the ray of light, while avoiding or destroying a flurry of Dark Preeds, and use the Light-Based Teleporation System to go up to a higher ledge, then Screw Attack back across the chasm to a ledge where a Flying Ing Cache rests with S-Jrs' Sky Temple Key.
Trivia
- Interestingly, even after Samus siphons the energy from the Hive and returns it to the Sanctuary Energy Controller, the Light-Based Teleportation Systems still work, despite there being no "power source".
