I've got a question,

Just wondering,

Is there some way to browse images that have already been uploaded? Like, for example, if I wanted a picture of a Hunter Metroid, is there a way to tell if someone has already uploaded such a picture without knowing the specific file name? If this is somehow obvious and I am missing something, just let me know, but the Help only tells how to upload new images, not browse ones already there. If there are images that can be used, I'd rather use them than uploading brand new ones. --Nintendbob 15:37, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Go to the category to which a Hunter Metroid would fall under. Usually, such an image would already be added to the page, but occasionally people upload images before the page is created and an unused image just sits there. Head on over to Special:SpecialPages to find an array of lists that may be useful. More specifically, go here to look at uncategorized files which you wouldn't find under any category. There to go to files that are unused, that is, they don't appear on any page. And there to view all categories. The enemies category or Metroids category would be where an image of a Hunter Metroid would be if it existed. Hope some of that helped! --Malake256 ^{{Talk | Contribs}} 17:29, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Skype Archive

Hello Metroid Wiki, it is January, the first month of 2011 and many have probably noticed but not paid attention to our little Skype section. Well, MW's Skype happens to be much more successful than MW talk pages in terms of basically getting things done. In other words, most of our major decisions have been made through Skype. That being said, I am going to put this Discussion Center to use—by archiving results of Skype chats. If not, we may end up moving these archives to some Skype archive page. Oh and btw, if you want to join our public Skype chat, it's free and convenient, ask an administrator on his (hmm, we need female administrators...) talk page. Plus you get to see the more interactive side of Metroid Wiki's staff team and various other active users. Yeah, this section may seem trivial, but I like to have such sections around for easy linking, so don't judge! --Malake256 ^{{Talk | Contribs}} 06:02, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Game Abbreviations

The official MW game abbreviation list has been upgraded. Various templates and files will be moved to match this list. Specifically, three game abbreviations have been changed: Hunters (hu → mph}, Fusion (fu → mf), Trilogy (tri → mpt) --Malake256 ^{{Talk | Contribs}} 06:02, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
