White Hatch

A White Hatch is a door created by the Luminoth that requires light energy[1] to be opened. Like a regular door, it grants Samus access to the next room once it is opened, but must be reopened with the Light Beam after it closes again if she wishes to pass through again.
On Tallon IV, a similar door that requires the Ice Beam to be opened called the White Door is found.
