Seedling
From Metroid Wiki
Seedlings are plant-based[1] scavengers found in the Tallon Overworld of Tallon IV. Their bodies are covered with spines that they can fire in self defense.[1] These spines can home in on their targets and also regrow allowing the Seedlings to attack again.
