The Trial Grounds is a room used by the Ing to conduct rites of passage in Dark Agon Wastes.[1] These rites of passage consisted of prearranged gladiatorial battles between young Ing and fierce opponents.[2] A Luminoth corpse that Samus discovers here is apparently the remains of one such opponent.[3]
Samus encounters a swarm of Nightbarbs in this room, along with one Hunter Ing, the Nightbarbs' primary predator.[4] There are also several Bladepods.
This room has one Light Portal that can be used to travel to Mining Station B on Aether.
