Orange Phazon is a rare variation of Phazon that has only found in the Impact Crater of Tallon IV. It is highly toxic and can kill a creature within seconds due to its extremely high radiation emissions. It can damage Samus even through her protective Phazon Suit. If Samus were to step in this, it would be noticed that energy would drain considerably faster, and exponentially, even with the Phazon Suit equipped. Considering this, an earlier Samus or any life form not protected from Phazon would be mutated or destroyed quickly by this special Phazon. It is apparently the result of Phazon being concentrated to extremely high amounts, or it could be the result of the Metroid Prime's unique anatomy.
Trivia
- This Phazon may also been what Red Phazite Armor is made from in Corruption considering it's higher potency then regular Phazon.
