Chozo Ghosts are spectral entities that haunt areas of spiritual significance on Tallon IV. The corrupting effects of Phazon slowly drove most of them insane, causing them to attack even Samus.[citation needed] They are immune to all nature-related beams and weapons except for the Power Beam and the Super Missile. Their ability to phase in and out of the visible spectrum makes the X-Ray Visor an excellent tool for tracking their movements.
