Chozo statues, Artifactor statues in Metroid II: Return of Samus are guardian statues of the Chozo, located on the planets the Chozo colonized. Chozo statues appear in nearly all Metroid games. In some games, they have the ability to heal Samus Aran if she enters Morph Ball mode and rests on the palms of the statues. Generally, the statues guide Samus through her ventures, with the exception of Super Metroid's Torizo statues.
