Mechlops are Luminoth mechanoids based on the Triclops inhabiting Magmoor Caverns on Tallon IV. They were constructed after attempts to domesticate Triclops for use in war failed. Like the Triclops, Mechlops can draw in small objects into their jaws and Samus can defeat them when they attack by substituting a Morph Ball Bomb for her own Morph Ball form.[1]
