The Metroid Prime series is a 3-D first-person shooter series that started in 2002. Games have been released on the Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo DS, and Wii. The Metroid Prime Series focuses on the power of Phazon and the destructiveness of Leviathans.

Spinoff Games
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime is the first first person game in the series. It was released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2002. The game takes place on the planet Tallon IV.
Metroid Prime 2: Echos
The second first person game, as well as the second in the series. Released for GameCube
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
The final game in the trilogy, was the first Metroid game released for the Wii in 2007.
Metroid Prime: Trilogy
The Trilogy edition had all three Metroid Prime games, with the first two being ported for Wii. It also has the Multiplayer of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Metroid Prime Hunters
A spinoff game of the prime series, released for Nintendo DS, while still incorperating qualities of the main games. Takes place between Prime 1 and 2.
