The Monks of Grondheim were mentioned briefly in Metroid Prime in a computer terminal scan in the Magmoor Caverns on Tallon IV. Space Pirates who had set up geothermal processing operations in the Monitor Station had planned to harvest the local lava-filled crystal formations and sell them to the Monks, to whom they were reportedly of great value.[1] Whether Grondheim is a location or a religious order is unspecified.
