Puffers are armored, poison gas filled organisms found on Tallon IV, though similar species are found on several different planets. They have no attacks, though if they are ruptured they will explode, releasing their poison gas in the process.[1] Samus cannot rupture Plated Puffers with most of her weapons, their armor can only be breached with Missiles. She encounters them in the Chozo Ruins.
