A Sheegoth is a predatory reptile indigenous to Phendrana Drifts on Tallon IV. The first appearance a Sheegoth makes is as a boss guarding the Wave Beam in the icy Chapel of the Elders. It appears following a preliminary battle with 4 Baby Sheegoths. The crystals on its back will absorb energy from the Power Beam, so the trick is to shoot it in its mouth when it's open with Concussive weapons. Other Sheegoths take up residence in Phendrana later in the game and can be fought repeatedly in multiple rooms, including the Quarantine Cave after the defeat of Thardus. As with other creatures of Phendrana accustomed to the cold, the Plasma Beam will deal severe damage.

• Sheegoth:

A glacial predatory reptilian that reigns supreme in the icy landscape of the Phendranam Glacier. Sheegoths are difficult to harm, though intense heat seems to have a lasting effect on them. Their mouth is a weak spot, the only place on its body that can be hit without the shots being deflected or absorbed.
